Can't log on to windows 2000

After computer boots and windows 2000 starts, log on box
apppears with message as follows; "The system couls not
log you on. Be sure that your usar name and domain are
correct,
then type in your password." I click OK and type in the
proper password, but get the same message.

Have a look at the message with the Subject line
"Reboot in Safe Mode", posted less than one
hour ago.
