Can't log on to computer

I was trying to set up a home network and changed the domain name
for my computer. Now I can't log on.
My log on and password will not work; there is no longer a domain
drop-down dialog box to choose a domain from.

Can anyone help with how I can reset or bypass or create a new admin
user and get logged on?

Unless you or the domain admin know a user name and password combination
that has administrative rights on the computer, you better start
reinstalling from scratch.

Bring the computer back to work and ask the network admin to add it back to
the domain. You didn't need to change this setting, btw - you shouldn't mess
around with network settings. You could access your home network/workgroup
just fine by logging into the domain with cached credentials and then
connecting to resources on the other computers by specifying the appropriate
credentials.
