Can't log into secure sites

I can get to the home page of several financial sites.
Then when I try to log in to them, I first get a Security
Alert ("you are about to view pages over a secure
connection...").After I check OK, I get "This page
cannot be displayed". At the bottom it says that if you
are trying to access secure sites the settings in
Internet Options-Advanced, Security should have SSL-2.0,
SSL-3.0, TSL-1.0, and PCT-1.0 checked. My list doesn't
have PCT-1.0 !

I can get to the Windows Update home page, but I get an
error message after scanning for updates (0x800C0005).
Then when I click on Request Technical DSupport I get
the "This page cannot be displayed".

Anybody know what to do ?

I'm having the same problem. if I try to access an https server it will say "PAge Cannot Be Displayed" and if I hit refresh then the page goes blank and there is nothing in the status bar but the glyph (in the upper right hand corner, underneath the minimize/maximize/close buttons, is animated. if anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it. frankly it's a pain in the ass. I can't log into Hotmail or my bank account ;_
if at all possible please respond via email, I'm not sure I'd be able to find this thread again :\
