Can't install USB ISDN TA

I live in a section of Ireland that will never have BroadBand access, so the
best I can do is ISDN. I purchased a D-Link USB ISDN TA (DU-128TA+ Version
B2) modem and it works perfectly in XP but can't install it in Vista no how
no way. I have to use a external analog modem and use the standard drivers
since Vista doesn't support Intel Modems either. Is there anyway I can
install my ISDN TA into Vista. I am frustrated and need some assistance.
Please SOMEONE Help. I'm 72 years old and could sure use some help. Thanks

I certainly understand your situation. I used ISDN for years before cable
Internet access became available in my area in the US. And ISDN was
considerably better than an analog modem.

Did you try installing the D-Link XP drivers in Vista? If they don't work
there is not much you can do. If the D-Link ISDN TA is fairly new there's
a chance that D-Link will develop Vista drivers for it. Now that Vista is
RTM hardware vendors will be running out of excuses regarding drivers.

You could contact D-Link regarding your problem. Maybe they can give you
an update on any upcoming Vista drivers for your hardware.

It's possible that your D-Link USB ISDN hardware will never be supported
under Vista. In which case you will have to buy new hardware which has
Vista drivers or stick with XP until you are ready to replace the
hardware.

Good luck!
