Can't install the patch

Hi! when i was using the patch(WindowsXP-KB823980-x86-
CHT). when i finished reading the agreement, and click i
agree and go on to the next stage. The program just
terminates by itself. What's wrong??

Hi

KB823980 is superseded by KB824146, so you should try to
install that one instead:
