cant install graphic driver

Just done a clean xp installation of xp and try to install the on-board
graphic driver from the msi website. It says it cannot find the device which
I do not understand as its on board. In my DM - under other devices listing
(video controller (vga compatible))

The manufacturer has ask me to reinstall the xp which I think its a bit
strange as the drivers are the first thing I install after xp.

Properties>setting and there 'Display (default monitor on (bkank)) which I
dont understand why it does not show the name of my monitor which is dell.

Some times when I shut down I get this message that PCARam Dr did not
initialise)
At Setting>Advance>adapter>properties?resources-VgaSave and it shows red
cross stating conflicting devices and all used by SIS Accelerator graphic
port. So how do I go about sort this conflict of resources? Thank you for
your help.
As it stand the display is ok and I can change the resolution from 800x to
1024x

Is the MB intel based or amd,if intel,im surprised at thier suggestion of
reinstalling
xp.For intel the 1st install after xp would be the chipset installation
utility,then the
drivers/software for the video controller.Plus, you should always get the
downloads
from intel,not msi....

Intel cpu and the mobo only hv this ms 6524 marking and there is a chip with
sis 961 marking. I was told that sis961 is included in the sis650 series.
When you say download from Intel, can you please hep to pin down the exact
loaction for the driver, thanks
