Is it possible for column to be max out? How come I can not insert ne
column? I have used up to column IS. Can't insert anymore after that

When I try to insert this message pop up "To prevent possible loss o
data, MS excel cannot shift nonblank cells off the worksheet. Try t
locate the nonblank cell by pressing CTRL + END and delete or clear al
in cells between the last cell and the end of your data. Then select A
and save your workbook to reset the last cell used. Or you can mov
to the new location and try again. "

I located the nonblank cell, but don't want to delete all the dat
between the last cell and the end of my data. My worksheets are huge
They also have complicate formular & linking to each others.

I can't copy and paste to a new workbook. It would take me months t
link all the worksheets together.

Please help. Thanks:mad

Hi!

Select the columns from IT to IV and delete them.

As far as I know, we are limited to IV, but if "empty
columns" to you are formatted in any way, then Excel
thinks they are being used. Select columns IT to IV on
your spreadsheet, go to "Edit" and select "Clear All".
This should free up some more columns for you and allow
you to insert (take an empty column from the end) a
column somewhere else.
