Can't Import Favorites

When I try to import my favorites that I saved on a cd before installing XP, I get an error message saying, "You don't have authorization to save to this directory. See administrator to obtain permission." This is my personal home pc, so I guess I AM the admin. There is another user set up, but it has a limited account. Does anyone know what I need to do? TIA.
 
Did you export them to a single file?
You cannot import unless you exported first.

If you only copied the Favorites folder, then just copy the contents
to the new Favorites folder.

Bee Dubya, Is the file on your CD named 'bookmark.htm"?
You're prob not going to get a straight out answer on this in the group. I figured out how to transfer mine on my own since the, so called "Wizard" does not work.
