Can't get to website - Windows Firewal??

I have WinXP Pro SP2 with Windows Firewall enabled and AVG Free
Antivirus. I get to the internet through a cable connection to a D-Ling
ADSL modem/router.

I have in general very few problems, but there are a few very reputable
websites that I can't reach - it tells me that the server at the website
is taking too long to respond, while I have no problem going to teh same
websites from other machines on other networks.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Example of such web site?

You need to also know that your Internet Service Provider may have Internet
access problems, access proxies and blocked web sites.
