Larry

I created an image file of my C drive last Friday.
Over the weekend, I was installing/uninstalling allot of programs, mostly
"30 day trials".

Today, I restored the image (made at 5:15 pm on Friday)
Everything looked fine, until I tried to get into Control Panel, and got
an error msg box -

"There was a problem sending the command to the program"

I've restored drive images many times, but never had this happen before,
I did a system restore to Friday @ 11am, ran Registry Repair,
but no change.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Virus, Trojan, or Worm? They sometimes disable things like the Registry
Editor &/or the Control Panel. If so, you may find they'll launch in Safe
Mode (<F8> at startup), and that means you have to examine the Run key in
you registry *very* carefully for unwanted additions ...

Also, are the same *.cpl files in System32 before and after?
