Can't get slides to advance automatically when sound file added

I have created a PPP with 21 slides and music. I've checked the
"Advance Slide Automatically" and set the time at 5 seconds. When I
save the PPT file to a PPS file, the first (title) slide plays and the
music starts, but it doesn't advance automatically. If I remove the
sound file, it plays OK...the slides advance automatically.

I have the sound file set to loop and the sound icon to not be
displayed. The sound file dialog box shows the total playing time for
the sound file to be consistent with the total length of my
presentation. Any idea why the adding of a sound file prevents the
slides from advancing?

You need to go to custom animation - double click the media icon and in
effects set stop playing after 21 slides.
