can't get link to work in shared border

I'm a newbie. I created buttons in a shared border that I linked to pages on the site. All of them worked, except for one. The difference in the one that didn't work is that FrontPage is inserting "http://" before the page location in the Address under Edit Hyperlink. It automatically appears if I delete it and I don't know how to get to the HTML section for a shared border to delete it there. I would appreciate any help on this.

Tools web/Site Settings Advanced - show hidden folders
The shared borders are in the _hidden _borders folder
But if using nav bars you need to use View navigation
and if FP is inserting http: it means you need to not type in the link, but browse to it w/i the currently open FP site
