I have a new router and am trying to get my computers to talk to each other
so I can share files. I'm new at this and have use the network wizzard
several times cause I didn't know which to box to check since I had two
connections to the internet... the NIC card and the 1394 connection. I have a
D-Link wireless router. The desktop is wired to the router an Laptop
connects wirelessly. Both computers can access the internet. Desktop LAN
does not show laptop in workgroup. Laptop is inconsistant...at times it
shows both computers in workgroup but when I click the desktop it says path
unknow..other times I can't get workgroup.. I get the message not
accessable... server for this workgroup currently not available. I've
checked the computer brouser on both computers and it is started and set to
auto. Pings from the laptop to both computers OK. Pings from the
desktop...desktop replys, laptop timed out.
This is the configs for both computers
