Hello.
I will try to make this as brief and as comprehensible as
possible.
There is a word on my web site that appears purple (as if
I had clicked on it or visited it at some time) no matter
what I do. I have cleared everything (history, cache,
temporary interent files, everything I can think of
regardless of how redundant it might be), but it keeps
highlighting "purple".
I have even deleted this word from my web site, uploaded
the file, refreshed the file, added the word and link
again, re-uploaded it, and it still appeared "purple".
But it does not appear that way to anybody else.
When I use www.spiderproxy.com to view my website
remotely, it appears "blue" (as it should by all rights).
At first I questioned my web authoring program
(Dreamweaver) and explored possible causes with their
technical support at the following thread...

....but to no avail. I now feel that my version of IE is
somehow not completely emptying when I delete various
histories.
Here is the offending link:
http://www.wakinglands.com/htm_files/the_main_page.htm
To find the word that I am talking about, scroll down the
daily news items to "Prestige Class Free-for-All"
dated "13 February 2004". The link to "Races" is the one
that appears Purple to me no matter what I do.
Please do not tell me that it appears "blue" to you. I
know that it does. It is simply appearing blue to me.
Again, any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.
