Can't force existing web page to use SSL

W

William F. Bailey

I have recently obtained an SSL certificate and installed
it on my IIS 4 server. I've created a new web in FP2002
and selected the option to use secure communications
(SSL). I have created new pages in this web and then used
the https protocol to view them in a browser. The "lock"
icon appears in the IE status bar, so I know that SSL is
working on these pages. However, if I copy an existing
page into the new web, and use https to display it, the
lock icon does NOT appear.

Is it possible to bring an existing page into a web and
have SSL work when the page is accessed using httpS? If
so, how do I do it?

Thanks in advance!

To see the lock, you must access the page via https://...
