Can't find Word

I got a new PC with XP, but I can't find Word. Where can
I write in Word?

Word is not part of XP and not part of any Windows OS. You
have to buy it or if you have it, install it. If you have
word 97 it will work.

Have you purchased and installed Word? If so, click Start > All
Programs > Microsoft Word.

Neither the Microsoft Office application suite, nor any of its
individual component applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,
Outlook, etc.), have _ever_ been "part" of *any* Windows operating
system. They are, and always have been, separate applications, that
must be purchased and installed separately.

Word is part of Office, not a part of the OS. You'll need to purchase
it.
