I'm using Outlook 2007 w/ XP.

Until today, if I typed in a name in the "search contacts' window of
Contacts, it found the names fine. But a new entry I put in contacts
yesterday is in the contacts file, but the search function can't find it.

Any suggestions?

"Outlook has finished indexing all of your items. New items are inexed when
they arrive. 0 items remaining in 'Personal Folders.' 0 items remaining
across all open mailboxes."

And later entries do show up in a search, so it seems something was wrong
with this entry.

I deleted it and reentered it, with the only difference is I added a zip
code. Then it comes up in the search.

So problem solved, but I'm not sure why.
