I can't find my storage location for Outlook Express messages on my old xp
machine.
The file path in OE where it says my inbox is stored does not exist.
I've searched in every folder on the c: drive for .dbx file to no avail?

can anyone help?

Here is the path to the place where the messages are on my XP system.. You
must have 'show hidden files' turned on to get there.

X:\Documents and Settings\Chip\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{25FF2993-0CB8-4B58-BC29-2E4480601264}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express

Where "Chip" is the user, and "X" is the drive (probably "C" on your
machine. )

...Chip..

In Windows Explorer click Tools | Folder Options | View and set it to Show
hidden files and folders. Then try again.
See http://www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#oe2wm

Also, when doing the search, do an advanced search and include hidden files.
