CANT FIND MENU AND TASK BAR IN WORD

AM new using microsoft vista, and i used alot of microsofr word, i cant
figure out where is the menu and task bar, ex tools, view , edit, am writting
an important document and am stuck

Has,
The menu's have gone in Word 2007, which is what you are using I presume.
You can click on the Office-button that will bring back most of the File
menu you were used to in Word 2003.
All the other stuff has been put in ribbons.
