Hi,

I have a query related to MS word (2007) document menu options. In
administrator login, Whenever i open a blank MS word document Add-ins menu
appears in the tool bar along with the other menu's like Home, insert, page
layout, view, review etc. The same does not appear if i log in as any other
user.

Can u pl suggest how to make the menu appear when i open a word document in
any user login. This is required for a software that is loaded on the PC and
that is available under add-ins menu which has to be used by many users.

As a guess, I'd say that they have been saved in the collapsed state in some
profiles but not in the Admin profile.

If you double-click the active ribbon title, the ribbon will collapse to
release more screen area for the document. Double-click the active title to
lock it open again.

There are many other tricks too: try double-clicking the Pizza.

the first option is not yielding any result..
What is pizza???
Can u suggest other tricks also??

The 'pizza' button is the Office button top left of the Word 2007 screen
that looks like a pizza.

I think I may have misunderstood your problem. If it is ONLY the add-in menu
that is missing for other users? The Add-in menu only appears when there is
an add-in in the Word Add-in folder. Obviously, an add-in has been installed
for the Admin group, but not for other groups. Depending on the add-in, you
may have missed a check box in the installation procedure labeled 'make
available for all users of this computer' or something similar. The Add-ins
folder is in the User's Roaming Profiles, so it can be install for the
single user or for all users.
