I've just had surgery on my right hand and have had to switch to mousing with
my left hand for the time being. I switched the primary & secondary buttons
on my mouse but I can't find a cursor that points upward & to the right. I
could've sworn this used to be an option in the mouse section of the control
panel. Maybe it was back when I was using Win98 ... I don't remember. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :-)
Thanks in advance.

Did you ever try a search engine for this?
Here is the top result for a Google on "left hand mouse pointer"

I *was* going to suggest a Google Search but I might mention
that you are right in your recollection since there was a
Logitech option for Windows 98 called "Lefty by Logitech". I
don't know why they gave it up.

Yes, I Googled this at first & found a download but it turned out to be
adware so I didn't install it. Thanks for the link you provided & thanks to
James Silverton for confirming that my memory wasn't playing tricks on me!

In the Logitech User Forum:
http://forums.logitech.com/index.html?l=en&c=usa ,
asking the question "Lefty by Logitech" brings up a short
discussion and details about restoring Lefty from a Logitech
guru (Richard Owen, I think) last summer.

I have no reason to have tried it but Good Luck!
