I'm running XP Home edition and had to reinstall it recently. For some reason when I go into dxdiag and go on the Display settings my device isn't there (I've got Geforce ti 4200) so my computer seems to be running the default settings.

When I bought the computer my graphic/video card had already been installed so I don't have any Installation CD and I've downloaded the Graphic driver from the nvidia website and nothing happens. Should it be enough for me to remove the card from the AGP slot and put it back in or is there somthing else I can do

Did you download and install it or just download it?

You did install the driver after downloading it, correct?

When I try to install it I get the following msg: "This software requires an Nvidia nforce 2 or nforce 3 motherboard to operate. No required products were detected. Installation will now be aborted."
