can't find dll error when setting currentproject.connection in acc

Hi ;

I am getting this message when i try to set my ADODB database connection to
currentproject.connection -

"can't find dll" with the connection property highlighted.

I can set the object on other PCs so me thinks that something wasn't
installed.

Has anyone encountered this ?

Sounds like a problem with the installation or registration of the ADO
components. These components are not distributed separately but as part of
the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC). You can download the latest
version of MDAC at ...

So the MDAC was not installed correctly by Access ?

This is not a development machine.

There is no way that I could possibly answer that question, Gordon. All I
can say is that based on your description my best guess is that there may be
a problem with the installation or registration of the ADO components. I
could not begin to speculate as to what might have caused that problem.
