cant find CD

when I try to save a file to CD, a "Please insert a disk
into CD drive now" appears even though it has one in it.

Hi Will,

Double-click "My Computer". Right-click the CDRW drive, select properties.
Go to the recording tab, put a check in the line to enable recording on this
drive.

If you are using a CD-R, make sure it doesn't have

anything prerecorded on it like finalized music files,
for it will give you that error. Use formatted CD-RWs
and you'll have no more problems. You will be able to
delete, add or change files just like you do on your
harddrive. CD-Rs are mainly for recording MP3 musci
files or data/photo files for one-time recording and
storage.
