Can't find area to enter a URL address

Help-
Can anyone tell me why I've lost the area to enter a URL
web address. There's no longer a place at the top of my
screen to type in a URL...can't figure out how to get it
back. Thanks!!!
 
Under IE> View> Toolbars, Address Bar is checked, right?
Try...
Right-click on your toolbar and uncheck "Lock the toolbars." Grab the
"handles" on the other toolbars and move them around- up & down as well as
sideways. The address bar should appear.
