can't find any vba code

I've created several custom animations on a slide using the regular
PowerPoint WYSIWYG interface. I want to fine tune and make some adjustments
to the animations by way of modifying the vba. However, when I go to the
Visual Basic Editor, there is absolutely no vba present.

I'm used to doing the same sort of thing in Access, but in PPT I just can't
see any code.

Suggestions?

What version of PowerPoint are you using? Simply creating animations
generates no VBA code. To generate VBA code (in 2003 or earlier), you
can record a macro. However, In 2002 and 2003, animations don't generate
any VBA code because the Record Macro feature doesn't keep up with the
new features of PowerPoint. For that reason, in 2007, the macro recorder
was eliminated entirely.

If you want information about how to program animations, check out
Shyam's tutorial:

Thanks for the info. I just assumed (incorrectly) that PPT would generate
code like in access etc. I appreciate your response.
