can't export contact database (Outlook 2000)

Hi

Can't export Outlook 2000 contact database except to a pst file. I need to save as different files, such as Excel or dbase. I'm using Outlook 2000 Premium. I get the following messages

Microsoft Outlook cannot start the Import/Export engine. This feature is not currently installed. Would you like to install it now

So when I try to install, I get the following error message despite logging on as the administrator: Microsoft Outlook cannot start the Import/Export engine. Microsoft OUtlook cannot install the necessary files due to Windows installer error 1603. Fatal error during instalation

I have another machine w/Outlook 2000 Professional and there's no problem. I've reinstalled to no avail. Please help!

You don't say what version of Windows, but you can download Windows
Installer from Microsoft's site and reinstall it.
