I have a few users, sitting on WinXP Pro machines, when they connect to a FTP
site using IE and ask the program to remember username and password, where is
that stored? I need to erase it because the username is wrong. I have looked
in Network Places and erased the "shortcut" that is out there, then
rebootede, but I still get no username and password prompt, it just logs on
with the one the user asked to be rememberd. HELP (stupid little problem).....

Open control panel | internet options | content | look at auto complete
clear passwords. That should clear them.

If not try searching the registry for the name in question. Be very careful
when editing the registry. It should be obvious if you find the name in the
reg if it relates to the ftp site.
