Any body ever get this before.

I can't get my internet connection shared! It was working
before!
I am using my computer with two nics as the host. One nic
goes to the cable modem. The other goes to the router.
There are two other computers on the network. One is
running 98 (with one nic on board.) The other computer has
two nics that are both attached to the router.
That computer is running XP PRO. It is the client!

Greetings zipthepinhead,

Click Start, Run, and type "msconfig" and press OK. Select the Services tab and make sure each of the following services are checked.

Application Layer Gateway Service
Network Connections
Network Location Awareness (NLA)
Plug and Play
Remote Access Auto Connection Manager
Remote Access Connection Manager
Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
Telephony

Then Press Apply and click Close. Then press the Restart button and after you restart, then try and rerun the the ICS wizard.

If you continue to experience this problem, verify that these services have not been disabled for the hardware profile.

1. Start / Run / Services.msc / OK.

2. Double-click a service.

3. Select the Log on tab.

4. If the service is disabled in this hardware profile, press Enable.

5. Select the General tab.

6. Set the Startup type to Automatic.

7. Press Apply and OK.

8. Shutdown and restart your computer.

9. After the restart, rerun the ICS Wizard.
