I'm trying to get file sharing working on my XP Home installation and
am running into an interesting problem. I can access shares on the
network just fine, but I can't share my own folders.

When I am looking at the Sharing tab of a folder's properties, the
lower part of the box says I need to run the Network Setup Wizard, or
I can click the lowermost link and select "Just enable file sharing".
I've done both and nothing works. When I select "Just enable file
sharing" I am returned to the folder properties and nothing has
changed. The same thing happens if I go through the Network Setup
Wizard.

Any ideas?

(btw.. I have SP1 installed and all the latest updates).

It turns out the problem was that I had no guest account. I read that
one was suppost to exist by default on XP Home installations, but I
guess that wasn't the case with mine.
