First of all, unless you already have Yahoo Messenger installed,
go to http://messenger.yahoo.com then download and install it.
Then go back and repeat the Yahoo directions.
Those are old directions written for XP, so you have to be a little
resourceful to translate those to Vista equivalents.
Under the Programs tab, click "Set programs".
When the next screen opens, click "Set program access and
computer defaults". Select 'Custom', then click the down-arrow.
Under "Choose a default e-mail program" select Yahoo Mail.
