can't e-mail photo's from my pictures

have windows xp home - I cannot highlight a photo and e-mail it any more -
the option for reducing picture size comes up, and the green bar goes across
but nothing else happens.

I have been to internet options and the programmes and I cannot fill
anything in the e-mail box there is also no option in the drop down.

this problem started with a message, saying microsoft exchange setup wizard,
it does not do this anymore but won't go any further than the reduce picture
size box after I click yes.

What program do you use for email? Somehow, Internet Explorer has lost this
information.

If you use Outlook, open Outlook and go to Tools, Options, Other. Under
General, click Make Outlook the default program for E-mail.

If you use Outlook Express, open it and go to Tools, Options, Other. On the
General tab under Default Messaging Programs, click Make Default.

If you are using something else for email, open your email program and then
click Help and search for default and you'll probably find the instructions
that you need. Once you have done this, it should show up in the list of
programs under Internet Options. You cannot type here to add it in.
