Can't download zip files

I was downloading my zip files earlier today with no problem.

Then, I couldn't download the files anymore. The box that would appear with
the tabs/buttons that said 'open, save or cancel' no longer appears (probably
because I accidentally unchecked the box that said 'always ask'). How do I
fix this problem?

I am able to download wmv files with no problems -- but I've tried various
zip files.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

To get the download dialog box, enable the "confirm open after download"
option for that filetype:

Open Windows Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, File Type tab
Scroll down to locate the file type. Highlight the filetype click the
"Advanced" button.
Then check the option "confirm open after download".
