Can't download templates

Some templates say that they can be used with Word 97 or later but when I try
to use Word 2002 already installed on my computer, a box pops up asking for
an office 2003 product code. I no longer have the 60 day trial code and have
no wish to purchase office 2003 suite. How can I download templates?
 
Dump that trial version. (I really don't like that trial version!)
