can't display images in IE

David

My problem has nothing to do with checking the box in
the "internet options". At first upload, IE displays
images fine. However, after a few pages, it just quits.
It no longer can download images, and only text is shown.
How can i fix this? As some background, i've been having
some IE hijacking problems as of late. Should I uninstall
IE and then install it again?

thanks,
dave

Having unwanted and unknown software on your computer at any time is a risk.

Follow the instructions for installation of Ad-aware and SpyBot at this =
link:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

This may eliminate some possible reasons for your problems.

It is also a known 'feature' of IE that images will not display properly
when the Temporary Internet Files Folder becomes too large. You can test
this by emptying your TIFF (temp....etc) when the problem occurs (from the
Internet Options control panel).

If this proves to be the case you may consider setting IE to empty the TIFF
on exit. You will find this option on the Advanced tab of Internet Options
control panel.
