Can't dismiss a reminder

I am harassed by a reminder that pops up every five minutes: one that I can't
delete, because it says it can't be found. I can't even change the timing to
every 2 days.

How can I get rid of this reminder?

I am a technological illiterate, and would appreciate any help I can
understand.

Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanreminders command line switch.

Brian, I still use Outlook 2000. Dose 2000 have those swithces?
