When I attempt to disable my internet connection on Windows XP
Professional SP2 by right-clicking the icon and clicking "disable", I receive
the following error message:

"Error Disabling Connection

It is not possible to disable the connection at this time. The connection
may be using one or more protocols that do not support Plug-and-Play, or it
may have been initiated by another user or the system account."

I have never had this problem in the past. Anyone have any idea what is
going on and how to fix this?

Thank you for your help ...

Adrian,
Have you tried going into your Network Connections folder in the Control
Panel? right-clicking on your connection and choosing 'Repair', Or try to
'Configure' from the Properties window. Finally, go to the Device Manager >
right-click on your Network Adapter or Modem connections and 'Uninstall' >
reboot, the connection driver will re-install. Good Luck.
