I'm an old dog trying to survive computers. My son used
this computer (dial-up connection, Windows XP) & used MSN
Messenger on it. He now has his own computer & has a dial-
up connection with Windows 98 & is using MSN Messenger on
it. He tried to delete it from my computer, but evidently
did not succeed. I still get the blue box -"You have been
signed out of MSN Messenger because you have signed in at
another location" & also still get some of his messages.
Every time I get online & he's on also, I knock him off &
he has to sign back in, etc. I've been told that XP comes
with Windows Messenger & can't be taken out, but I
evidently don't know if it's Windows Messenger or MSN
Messenger. MSN Messenger Tech Support told me on the phone
they could not help me because it was Windows Messenger.
They referred me to this site. Contacting God is easier
than contacting Microsoft. Neither are on the list
of "Add/Remove Programs". In "Tools" - "Options" -in
the "General" section, the top 3 boxes are NOT checked.
I don't know what else to do. How do I get rid of it?
Thanks. Wilbur
