can't delete registry sub-key

Hello,
I am trying to delete a registry sub-key under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Protected Storage System Provider.
There is one entry, which when I try to delete I get "can't delete ____.
Error while deleting the key".
Please advise what to try.
