can't delete record- Access table due to "search key not found"?

Unable to delete a blank record in Access table due to following error message-

"The search key was not found in any record"

Please advise of solution

You may have a corrupt Index on your table. Try Tools... Database
Utilities... Compact and Repair to see if that helps.
