Can't delete page in contineous document

I am using word 2003. I have a document that I set up as contineous. There
is a page I want to delete but can't find a way to do it. Can someone tell
me what to do? Thank you

Select everything on the page that you want to delete and delete it.

The page has a green 1 inch wide stripe at the top and the rest of the page
is blank. I tried to select first the green, but select it was greyed out.
Then tried to right click on page itself and delete was not an option.
