Hi,
I've uninstalled and reinstalled OL2003 several times in
an attempt to resolve the following issue:
Outlook is determined to create 4 "Personal Folders"
entries for me, all named the same. One is my actual PST
file. Another is the default PST file, which I'm able to
remove via the options->mailSetup->DataFiles. That
removes the corresponding "Personal Folders". Remaining
are two "Personal Folders" with no datafile (all right-
clicks result in error: "The set of files could not be
opened".)
Any ideas on how I get rid of them? Any ideas on where
Outlook remembers what it thinks I should have...across
de-/re-install!!! It's not anywhere in the registry
(that I can find) or any file on the c: drive that I can
search. My problem would be easily solved if Microsoft
would allow me to *completely remove* Outlook, but alas,
in their wisdom they've taken control away from me.
Any help would be much appreciated.
thanks,
gordon
