Download this fix, and install it with Windows Mail not running:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

If you don't know whether to use the 32-bit version or the
64-bit version, try the 32-bit version first.

It's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, but it also works
for other folders.

go to the weapon section of your home and shoot the shit out of your
pc/laptop

-- Thahttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090ny you to
robertmiles as below!!! This worked downloading the link!! Yee Ha!! Thank
you; had emails stuck in my deleted email box for months, it would not delete
in a block when you right clicked, nor any more individual emails...it said
their content could not be found..(may-be they were stuck somewhere like the
'Bermuda Triangle'!!....but now solved by downloading your link
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

If that old fix worked for you, it indicates you had not installed Vista's
SP1 update. Install it, as well as SP2.
