Can't Delete Folder in Windows 2000

Anthony

Hello,

I inadvertently deleted Administrator privileges from a
folder on my W2K server, and now cannot delete it. Is
there a tool in the Resource Kit or other mechanism to
delete this folder, as I am unable to reassign admin
rights to it? Thanks!

Hi Anthony. If you are unable to add permissions to the folder, please try the following:

1. Right click on the folder, select properties.
2. Select the Security tab, click on the "Advanced" button at the bottom.
3. Click on the Owner tab.
4. In the "Change owner to:" box, select Administrators and click on OK.
5. Now try to add permissions to the folder.
