Friends - I'm getting "Can't delete folder, in use by another person or
program? I can't remember the solution for this. I rebooted, but that didn't
work. I remember (from the dim past, long ago) that once upon a time I went
in safe mode and deleted a folder with this problem and ended up rebuilding
a hard drive - YIKES! Is there a new solution for this in XP? Thanks for
your help - Bob

Hi Bob

Try deleting the folder from a command prompt. Is it a folder you created
or one created by a program?

Will - Thanks for your help, I created the folder. I hate to ask this
question, but, how do you do a command prompt in XP (I'm getting old and
feeble I guess :-) - Bob

To get the command prompt
"Start" , "Run", type "CMD" in the box and hit enter.
If this does not work reboot in "SAFE MODE"
Keep Hitting F8 when you boot
Run Safe Mode for XP and logon as Administrator
in this mode you can delete anything so be careful

Thanks gentlemen! I'm free of the folder - GB
