Can't delete files

I have a E:\ partition on my drive called media where I store all my
pictures and videos. I used "My DVD" and saved a project to the E:\ and
since then I have been unable to delete any of the folders connected to the
project. There are no files only folders. I have tried deleting from safe
mode but the same "cannot find the specified file" error message comes up.

Help!!

Should have googled first!

Used rd / s /q (I think!!) from the cmd prompt and it's gone.
