I want to delete all the items in my deleted emails at one time and it wont
do it. Only deletes one at a time. Please advise

Already tried that and it comes up error. I still dont know what to do. It
wasnt doing this before. All the sudden it says "Error has occurred" in a pop
up???
Please advise

Congrats. Seems like you have windows vista also. Never had this problem
before. This system does all sorts of things it feels like it wishes to do.
Tried all the solutions suggested and still cannot delete the deleted files.
Tried deleting them one at a time and got a few then the error came up. I
see where microsoft will improve the product if I click "I accept". We'll
see. I haven't seen an improvement sense I started the product.

I did what was suggested and at last my stuck mail has gone! also my deleted
mail box is now EMPTY. Thanks for all the advice.

delete the entire deleted folder it only is taking one at a time....

Thanks,

Jerry

Left click on any one message, ( anyone ), press Ctrl key and HOLD, click A
key. All messages are now shaded . Click Delete.

Instead of the manual deletion, choose Options from the Tools drop down
menu, click on the Advanced Tab, click on the Maintenance button (near the
bottom right). Under Cleaning up, check the box in front of: Empty messages
from the Deleted Items folder on exit.

Very good idea, but ..... there will be no 2nd chance. They are all gone
upon exit of Windows Mail.
I'd like to double check before I drop the axe, but that's just me.
