can't delete a mail message from deleted folder

The message does not show a sender. I cannot open it, nor can I delete it
from the Deleted Folder. If I go to properties it get vurtually nothing. I
tried to search for it with scanpst., but that did not work. It forces me to
remove each dleted email individually, because if I do a group delete,
Outlook locks up and gives an error message then closes. I've posted here
before about this, but unfortunately the suggestions given did not help. So
I am trying again.

Select the message, press and hold the Shift key and press the DEL key.
