Hi everybody:

A couple of weeks ago I formated my computer and installed Windows XP again.
I have a bipartition in my HD, I save "My Documents" in the partition where
windows is not installed, so when I finished reinstalling windows I just move
MY Documents folder to where I always have it, but this time I'm having a
problem:

There is a Folder I want to delete but for some reason, I can't. Each time I
try I get the following message:

******************************************************

"Error deleting file or folder"

Cannot delete folder: Acces is denied.

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not
currently in use.

*******************************************************

Does anybody knows what can I do?

TIA

Could be a permissions issue. If it is, you can regain access (and the
right to delete the subfolder) by taking ownership:

Power on your system, press the F8 key BEFORE you see the Windows XP logo. If you see the
Windows XP logo, you have gone too far, and have to start again. You may have to press
the F8 key a few times, but not enough times to bring up a keyboard error message. A
black screen with a menu should open, press the key number that corresponds to: Safe Mode,
when the next screen opens press the Enter key to boot into Windows XP Safe mode. It will
take a while, seeming that your screen is frozen, but bear with it. Just before the Safe
Mode desktop loads, a dialog box opens asking if you want to load the desktop or go
directly to System Restore, click the YES button to load the Safe Mode desktop. Then
either using My Computer or Windows Explorer, try deleting what you couldn't delete in
Normal Mode. When done, reboot normally.
