I am unable to start a video conversation when logged on to the
computer with a limited account. This is not a problem if I am logged
on as administrator. Is there a reason for this problem, and is there
a solution?

Greetings Alan,

Yes, most likely the reason why you're seeing this is because the Internet Connection
Firewall is engaged. The Internet Connection Firewall (at Messenger's direction) will not
automatically open the ports for voice/video conversations if the user is not an
administrator, and therefore a connection won't be established.

The only thing you can do (besides granting administrator rights to everyone) is to turn off
the firewall -- to do so, click Start, then All Programs, then Accessories, then
Communications, then Network Connections. Right-click your connection, then click
Properties. For cable modem/broadband users, your Internet connection will usually be called
Local Area Connection. For dialup, it should be the name of your Internet Service Provider.
Click the Advanced Tab, and uncheck the Internet Connection Firewall, then click OK.
